Attention à la prononciation !
SUR ‘U’ sur
SOUS ‘OU’ sous
sur, sous, sur

DEVANT

Jean-Louis est devant le lit.
DEVANT
Il est devant le lit.

DERRIÈRE

Jean-Louis est derrière le lit.
DERRIÈRE
Il est derrière le lit.

ENTRE

Jean-Louis est entre les lits.
ENTRE
Il est entre le lit bleu et le lit orange.

DANS

Jean-Louis est dans le lit.
DANS
Il est dans le lit.

À CÔTÉ DE

Jean-Louis est à côté du lit.
À CÔTÉ DE

Jusqu’ici, nous avons vu des prépositions simples.
Comme : sur, sous, devant, derrière, entre et dans.

Maintenant, ‘à côté de’, ce n’est pas une préposition simple. C’est une locution prépositive.
Et on dit : “il est à côté du lit”.
PAS “à côté de lit”.

POURQUOI ?
